Our triathlon is on Saturday!! And while we are both super excited, I’m also a little nervous about forgetting something – we are going to be four hours from home, in a small resort town, an hour away from a city of any decent size, so if we forget something, we are out of luck.
We are staying in a hotel with a full kitchen suite, so we will be preparing some of our own meals, so I’m including our food list as well. There is SO MUCH STUFF to bring!
I started my own list Monday, and several websites have very thorough lists, so between my list and theirs, here’s what I’m packing:
Water to rinse feet
2-3 GU packets
Heart Rate Monitor
Race Number Belt with Race number
Long pants and jacket
Garbage bags for wet gear
Hangers for wetsuits (for after race)
Triathlon Manitoba Membership card
Food for Hotel:
Hard Boiled Eggs
Snacks for kids
I’m sure there will be other things that go into the bags tonight, but this is it for now. It’s getting close!!!
