Weekly Update – July 30, 2011

This has actually been a pretty good week on the fitness front. After three weeks with no running, I attempted my first short runs, and they were successful. I also managed several good bikes, and started to get my eating and weight back under control. Success!

Weight stats as of July 30, 2011:

Current:
Weight: 139.2 lbs
Body Fat %: 27.6%
Body Water %: 52.9%
BMI: 23.7

Change from last week:
Weight: (1.5) lbs down
Body Fat: (1.1%( down
Body Water: +0.9%
BMI: (0.5) down

Change from January 1, 2011:
Weight: 146.6 lbs – (6.4 lbs down)
Body Fat %: 28.7% – (1.1% down)
Body Water: 6.2% – I was using the wrong measurement here. 🙁
BMI: 25.0 – (1.3 down)

Swimming:

No swimming this week as my tattoo heals.

Running:

2011/07/26 – 1.0 mile in 9:35
2011/07/27 – 1.1 miles in 9:50
2011/07/30 – 1.25 miles in 11:55

Cycling:

Hot Yoga

Weight Training ***NEW***

This was a much better week all around. I got my workouts in, and generally felt really good. My runs have gone super, with not a single twinge of pain in my ankle. The weights were hard this week, as I upped the weight; I think I’ll stay there for a couple weeks.

With the Riding Mountain tri only two weeks away, I can actually say I think it’s going to go really well – can’t wait!
