Weekly Update – October 29, 2011

It’s been a week! Good in most ways, then I fell off the wagon and had a massive cheat day yesterday… and you know what? It’s OK. 🙂 I did get a lot of really good workouts in this week, and although my weight is up, not down, I’m going to keep doing what I need to do and try to get it down.

Weight stats as of October 29, 2011:

Current:
Weight: 143.9 lbs
Body Fat %: 29.6%
Body Water %: 51.4%
BMI: 24.6

Change from last weigh in:
Weight: +0.6 lbs up
Body Fat: +0.5% up
Body Water: (0.7% down)
BMI: +0.1 up

Change from January 1, 2011:
Weight: 146.6 lbs – (2.7 lbs down)
Body Fat %: 28.4% – +1.2% up
Body Water: 6.2% – I was using the wrong measurement here. 🙁
BMI: 25.0 – (0.4 down)

Swimming:

2011/10/25 – 45 minute lesson + 10 minutes laps (kick drills, paddle drills, etc.)
2011/10/27 – 100 laps (2.0 km) in 1:00:02

Running:

2011/10/25 – 7.0 miles in 1:07:23 (treadmill)
2011/10/26 – 14.0 miles in 2:31:45 (treadmill)

Cycling:

2011/10/28 – 22.0 miles in 1:19:57 (indoor trainer)

Hot Yoga

2011/10/23 – 1 hour hot yoga – First class since June, felt awesome!

Weight Training ***NEW***

2011/10/24 – Core workout**
2011/10/25 – Bowflex weights (45 pounds)

** Current core workout: 5 planks (45-60 seconds), 40 back extensions, 20 crunches, 20 reverse crunches, and 20 side rolls.

My goals for the weekend turned out to be 5/6 I did a double bike ride, a blog post, some afghan, and read part of a magazine. Not bad! It was a busy weekend, but I got a lot done.

Goals for today:

1) Comicon!
2) 1 afghan strip
3) Write 1 blog post
4) 1 workout

So aside from pigging out yesterday, the week wasn’t bad from an eating perspective, and I’m back on track now. Today is a new day!
